Creating an organization project action
Our first step with each new client is to create a customized organizing action plan. Having a clear map is the most important step toward getting organized. You may choose to DIY the plan or hire us for hands-on organizing to transform your space.
Virtual action plans are available for clients outside of Clean Slate’s service area as well as local clients with homes or workspaces 1500 sq. ft or less.
During our two-hour action plan session, we’ll look at your entire home or workspace versus just one room. We’ve found that spaces are very symbiotic—what’s not working in one area is often tied into issues with another. For each space, we’ll help you define your vision, zones of activity/storage, items to remove (relocate, donate or sell), and items to add to maximize space. We’ll take detailed notes so you can focus on our conversation. After our meeting, we’ll send a PDF report with everything we discussed, including time estimates.
Your organizing project sessions
We can work with you in half-day (3 hr) or full-day (6 hr) blocks. Our team takes care of all the physical sorting, organizing, and hauling. With your Project Manager as your support and guide, you can focus your energy on making decisions of what to keep or let go of. Our work with you remains confidential and we will never throw something out without your permission.
Our goal is to not only help you get organized but to teach you how to stay organized after we’re gone. We will share our methods with you as well as design sustainable systems that can evolve with you over time. For those who prefer ongoing support, we offer refresh sessions to keep your new systems in shape. Complimentary donation hauls are included with each appointment at no extra cost and we can take items to consignment for you at our personal shopping rate.
Your virtual action plan
Our virtual action plans are perfect if you are self-motivated, but want a customized plan to establish the best approach and solutions for your space. We’ve created virtual action plans for clients all over the world. Here’s how it works:
First, you send us photos of your spaces with a description of what’s in each room and your challenges/goals (via email or a shared Google Drive folder). Everything will remain confidential. We’ll put together an initial plan based on your photos and notes.
Next, we’ll iron it out together during a one-hour video call. You’ll get a customized action plan as well as full access to our expertise for the hour. After we create the plan, we offer additional one or two-hour coaching and accountability video calls to help you get the organizing work done.
